My friend Mark Faldborg got me into Emacs initially, and even though I didn't write code back then, I was absolutely hooked. This talk by writer Jay Dixit sold me on this text editor for… well, text editing.

Emacs is an amazing editor that removes all the noise (while, admittedly, introducing quite a bit of tool-tinkering) from my writing. I will be detailing my workflow (with fountain-mode and imenu) later on.
